Since 2001, POWERInMOTION has been the expert for electric bikes in Canada. In 2008, we ventured out and began to design and develop our own product lines. Along with this we found ways to improve the products available on the market as well as becoming a distributor for unique products to the electric bike consumer. Currently we have two warehouses in Canada. The one in Calgary serves western Canada and the US, as well as the International Market. The second one in the Greater Toronto area serves eastern Canada and the US, as well as the International Market. As you can see we have covered all time zones in North America making us the prime choice to provide support to our dealers.

DNP 11 tooth freewheel – Exclusive Distributor in North America

If you are a Bionx or Crystalyte dealer, you know that 99% of Bionx installations require a freewheel in 7, 8, or 9 speed to replace the original cassettes. Currently only Shimano and Sunrace make freewheels in 7, 8 or 9 speeds. And their high gear starts at 13 or 14 tooth. Bikes today use high gears that start at 11 tooth. By replacing the 13 tooth freewheel; customers lose the top end speed, especially when running it together with a motor.

The 11 tooth freewheel allows you to comfortably peddle along with the motor at high speeds. Regular freewheels can cause the rider to have to spin the pedals uncomfortably fast in order to keep up with the motor. This allows the rider to fully appreciate the high speed of the electric bicycle and because they are able to pedal along at higher speeds they get the extra exercise and extra range from assisting the motor. They also get to feel that they are really pedalling along at the higher speed as opposed to just sitting helplessly while the motor goes too fast for them to pedal.

This device is our own creation, and a very useful addition to any e-biker’s arsenal. It taps into the power from your electric bicycle (from 36 to 72 volts!), and converts it to 12 volt DC power. Using this device, you can power a wide range of electronic devices *while* you ride! Everything from high powered bicycle lights, GPS units, heated grips - with a 120 watt maximum power output, this device can be used for most 12V accessories with ease.
